I have been making custom cabinets, furniture, and displays for over 20 years. Starting my apprenticeship with George Slack Cabinetmakers in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill in the 1990’s, I have created living spaces and furniture for dozens of homes across the Bay Area, as well as displays for local museums, including the de Young Museum, the Asian Art Museum, Oakland Museum of California, Alcatraz, and the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center. In 2007 I embarked on my own, founding Gary Grewell Woodworks, a cabinetry and furniture workshop that specializes in residential interior renovations. I work closely with architects, designers, contractors, and homeowners to create custom pieces with the craftsmanship and quality to last a lifetime.
